Motorcyclist killed in Mustang vs. Kawasaki collision For unknown reason, Ford Mustang crossed centerline, into oncoming motorcycle. Cyclist pronounced dead at the scene by Hardin County, KY, Coroner's Office By Tpr. Jeff Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police, Post 4, Elizabethtown, KY RADCLIFF, KY - Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown is investigating a two vehicle accident that occurred on KY 447 (S Wilson Road) in Hardin Co. On July 3, 2014 at approximately 4:30pmET. Richard C. Lawler (37) of Eastview was traveling Southbound on KY 447 on a 1983 Kawasaki KZ750 motorcycle. Michael H. Friedrich (27) of Renfrew PA, along with a passenger, Michelle L. Joseph (28) of Fort Knox, KY was traveling Northbound on KY 447 in a 1997 Ford Mustang. For unknown reasons the vehicle driven by Michael Friedrich crossed the center line into the southbound lane striking Mr. Lawler on his motorcycle. Richard Lawler was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hardin County Coroner's Office. Michael Friedrich was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital by ambulance with non life-threatening injuries. Michelle L. Joseph was airlifted by AirMethods to the University of Louisville Hospital. KSP reconstuctionist were sent to the scene and the accident is still under investigation. KSP was assisted at the scene by the Radcliff Police Department, Hardin County Sheriff's Office, , Hardin County EMS, AirMethods, Radcliff Fire Department and the Hardin County Coroner.
