2014 Adair Co. Fair: Mule Pull

CM Coverage: 2014 Adair Co. Fair Schedule of Events

Tuesday, July 8th at 5:00 P.M. in the Cattle Barns

Weigh-in starts at 3:00 P.M. CDT

Entry Fee - $15.00

Classes:

2000 lbs. & Under
2001 lbs. to 2200 lbs.
2201 lbs. to 2500 lbs
2501 lbs & Over
Horses

Prize Money: 1st - 5th Place For Each Class

1st - $125.00
2nd - $100.00
3rd - $75.00
4th - $50.00
5th - $25.00

Rules

Track - 15ft. wide for all classes
Class 1, 2, 3: Full pull is 15 feet. Three (3) pulls - Best out of three (3) tries. May skip first or second pull and spot the sled for the third pull.
Classes 4 & 5: Full pull is 20 feet. Three (3) pulls - Best out of three (3) tries. May skip first or second pull and spot the sled for the third pull.
Only driver and three (3) helpers will be allowed on the track at the same time of the pull.
When the load gets heavy, not over 500 lbs. will be added. This will be the decision of the judges.
No whipping or gouging of the team.
No pushing on double tree.
No original direction.
If driver loses a line the team will be disqualified.
If a team does not hook they will not receive prize money.
After 3 attempts to hook to sled - you lose a pull.
If less than five entries per class, payback for first place will begin at second place money.
