Paving to begin July 6 on KY 2303 and KY 80X in Pulaski Co.

Travel Advisory: Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes

SOMERSET, KY (June 25, 2014) - Beginning Sunday, July 6, KY, crews will begin performing paving operations on KY 2303 (South Richardson) and KY 80X (East Mt. Vernon) in Pulaski County.



Work is scheduled to be performed in two phases, starting with KY 2303 milling and paving operations being performed during daylight hours beginning at mile point 0 and ending at mile point 0.36. Phase two will consist of milling and paving operations being performed during night time hours on KY 80X beginning at mile point 2.5 (US 27) and ending at mile point 5.06 (KY 192).

During these operations roadways will be reduced to one lane. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Work is expected to be completed by November 15. The starting date and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destinations.
