He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church and attended Southland Christian Church. His wife of just over 10 months, Megan Ehrlich, survives as does his parents, Debbie Reynolds Price and John W. Price, Jr., survive. He was a member of a highly regarded Taylor County, KY family. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps and will be accorded full military honors at interment in Taylor County, KY. He was currently an employee of Link Belt in Lexington, KY.

Lance Corporal Jonathan Thomas Price, age 26, of Versailles, KY, died at 2:01amET, Saturday, June 21, 2014 in Lexington, KY.

The funeral service will be at 12pmCT, Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY by Rev. J. Alvin Hardy. Burial will be at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be at 11amCT/12pmET, Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Lance Corporal Jonathan Thomas Price of Versailles, KY, son of Debbie Reynolds Price and John W. Price, Jr., was born in Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky Wednesday, May 4, 1988. He died at June 21, 2014 in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 26 years, one month, and 17 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church and attended Southland Christian Church.

He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps.

He was currently an employee of Link Belt in Lexington, KY.

He united in marriage to Megan Ehrlich August 3, 2013.

Besides his wife, Megan Price of Versailles, KY, he is survived by the following:
  • His mother: Debbie Reynolds Price of Versailles, KY

  • His father: John W. Price, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Lancaster, KY

  • Mother-in-law: Katie Bledsoe of Midway, KY

  • Grandparents: Tommie Lee Reynolds, Johnnie and Carolyn Price and Peggy and Bobby Walker of Campbellsville, KY; and Doug and Yvonne Bledsoe of Versailles, KY

  • Step-grandfather: Ralph Hedgespeth of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two sisters-in-law: Brittany Ehrlich of Midway and Melanie Biddle and husband, Alex of Ludlow

  • Five uncles and four aunts: Tim Reynolds, Mitch (Pat) Reynolds, Chris (Karen) Reynolds, Lisa (Robby) Gaddie and Sandra (Jimmy) Hinton all of Campbellsville, KY; Rich (Jennifer) Reynolds of Versailles, KY; Randall (Patti) Price of Atlanta, GA; Jamie (Timmy) Warren of North Carolina and Angie (Keith) Gilpin of Liberty, KY

  • And several cousins and many other relatives and friends
