Creal Cundiff, 72, Adair County, KY (1942-2014)

He was a member of a highly regarded old line Adair County family. He was the son of the late Ramond Massey Cundiff & Ruth Wilcoxson Cundiff. His wife, Sue Janes Cundiff, survives. He leaves 6 direct living descendants spanning 4 generations. He was a member of the Pollards Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a milk tester for the dairy herd improvement association for over 40 years. He was currently an employee of Walmart in Columbia, KY

Creal Cundiff, 72, of the Cane Valley Mill Road, Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY after a few weeks illness.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Herbert Janes & Rev. William Davenport the officiating clergy. Burial will be in Cane Valley Cemetery, 83 Cane Valley Cemetery Road, Cane Valley, KY. The family requests visiting after 4pmCT, on Monday. June 24, 2014, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.



Creal Cundiff, 72, Adair County, KY (1942-2014)

He was born Thursday, January 8, 1942. He was the son of the late: Ray Massey & Ruth Wilcoxson Cundiff of Adair County, KY. He died Sunday, June 22, 2014, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 72 years, 5 months, and 14 days.

Preceded in death by one brother: David Cundiff.

Mr. Cundiff is survived by his wife, Sue Janes Cundiff of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • One son; Brent Allen Cundiff and wife Pam of Glensfork, KY

  • One daughter; Marlene Clark and husband Jim of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers; Glenn Cundiff of Columbia, KY and Albert Cundiff of Columbia, KY

  • Two sisters; Marilyn Hunter of Columbia, KY and Joy Adkins of Louisville, KY

  • Three grandchildren Jamie Flatt, Craig Clark, Ty Cundif

  • One great grandchild:Ezra Flatt
Creal was a member of the Pollards Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a milk tester for the dairy herd improvement association for over 40 years. He was currently an employee of Walmart in Columbia, KY.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Cane Valley Cemetery Fund or for Gideon Bibles.
