Christena Gabehart Jones, 25, of Knifley, a native of Mt. Washington, KY, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014, surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11amCT/12pm noon ET at Schmid Funeral Home, 9500 Highway 44E, Mt. Washington, KY, with a committal service at 2pmCT/3pmET, Tuesday, at Roley Cemetery, 14399 Knifley Road, Adair County, KY with burial to follow. Visitation from 2pm-7pmCT/3pm-8pmET, Monday, June 2, 2014, and 8amCT/9amET Tuesday at Schmid Funeral Home.

Survivors include:
  • Her loving husband: Kevin Jones of Knifley, KY

  • Her parents: George, Jr. and Debra Gabehart of Mt. Washington, KY

  • One brother: George Gabehart, III

  • Maternal grandmother: Christene Brown

  • Paternal grandmother: Peggy Gabehart

  • Her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Kerry & Connie Jones of Knifley, KY

  • Her sister-in-law: Kristy (Tony) Norris

  • Two nephews: Sam & Josh Norris

  • Her “babies”: Gracie, Pugslie & Gabe

  • Several other relatives, friends who loved and supported her and the medical staff who cared for her through the years.
