FM2 will offer fun to raise funds for Kosair Charities

By Barbara Armitage, Market Coordinator
Farmers Market on the Square

Stop in, at the Farmer's Market on the Square, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY in Columbia and help me raise money for Kosair Charities. Saturday May 31, 2014 promises to be a beautiful warm sunny day to be at the Farmer's Market on the Square. So why will I be all cold and wet? At 10:00amCT Saturday you all will have an opportunity to throw a bucket of water on me - for a price! For only a $1.00 donation you can get in on the dry side of all the fun.

I was challenged this week by Caitlin Helm of Lonely Acres Farm to what is known as a "cold water challenge" to raise money for charity.
The "cold water challenge" started out years ago as a fund raiser where people were challenged to actually jump into a lake of cold water. Thankfully now the challenge is easier - you just have to get wet.

See you at the Farmer's Market on the Square, at the Adair Annex Parking Lot, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY. We're open every Saturday from 8am to 1pm CT.

I know that lots of you have secretly wanted to do this to someone so why not me? It's for a good cause. - Barbara Armitage
