LWC Women's Tennis ranked No. 4 in NAIA

The Blue Raiders are the only Mid-South Conference member represented in the poll. The Blue Raiders received 313 voting points in the poll

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women’s tennis team is ranked No. 4 in the postseason edition of the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 poll, the national office announced on Wednesday.



The Blue Raiders received 313 total voting points in the poll.

The Lindsey Wilson (17-5) women’s tennis season came to an end in the NAIA National Championship Semifinals to eventual national champion Georgia Gwinnett 5-2.

Georgia Gwinnett sits atop the poll after winning their first-ever national championship. The Grizzlies received 343 total voting points and all 13 first-place votes.

Embry-Riddle (FL) finished runner-up to Georgia Gwinnett and is No. 2 in the poll after receiving 332 total points. Xavier (LA) is third with 318 points and Auburn Montgomery (AL) is No. 5 with 299 points.

The Blue Raiders are the only Mid-South Conference member represented in the poll.

Georgetown (KY) and Cumberlands (KY) sit just outside the top 25 in the receiving votes category.
