All Russell County Primary Results. Clete McAninch wins 7-way race for Republican Nomination for Sheriff. Darrell McQueary clinches Republican nomination for County Judge. Sue Popplewell Brockman is winner in Republican County Clerk's race. Bobby Dunbar wins jailer's race. Michael Reynolds takes GOP nomination for coroner. Steve Richardson top vote-getter in 11-way race for Magistrate for nomination in 4th District. Other GOP Magisterial Winners: Orvis Roy (2); Ronald Johnson (3). Max Wise big winner in State Senate Race. Matt Bevin barely defeated by Senator McConnell. Democrat Terry Wade takes 2nd District Magistrate nomination.
