Clerk: Only election business in office election Day On Tuesday, May 20, 2014 all other business, including auto and land transfers, will have to wait. - ADAIR COUNTY CLERK JOYCE ROGERS Adair County Court Clerk Joyce Rodgers has announced that on Election Day, her office will not conduct any other business except for the Primary Election Matters.. All other activiites of the office, including land and auto transfers, will be suspended on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, she said. This is the first time Election Day has been handled in this manner in Adair County, she said, though a lot of counties are doing the same. "With re-districting, a number of voters will be voting at places which are new to them.
