Officer involved Shooting in Marion County

Investigation is ongoing at this time

LEBANON, KY - The Kentucky State Police is investigating an officer involved shooting that occurred today at a residence in the 8000 block of St. Joe Road in Marion County.



Post 15 received a call from the Marion County Sheriff's office at approximately 9:09amET in reference to a suicidal subject. Units arrived on the scene at approximately 9:32amET, and reported shots were fired at approximately 9:38amET.

Two Troopers and 1 Commercial Vehicle Enforcement officer were on scene and were not injured. One male subject was transported from the residence to Springview Hospital. The investigation is ongoing at this time. - Jared Newberry
