Comments re article 67265 Sad word of the passing of Paul Barry Jones

By Victoria Pike

Mr. Paul Barry was such a wonderful person as well as being a dedicated public servant to the people of Adair County for many years. He will be greatly missed.

As a child, I can remember visiting his office with my father. I can almost still smell the aroma of the sweet pipe tobacco as we entered the door to his office. He always had an infectious laugh and a wonderful smile every time you saw him.

Most children probably don't remember much at age 4 or 5, but the memories of those visits to his office will always be special.

Our deepest sympathy goes to the entire Jones family.

The Class of 1978 Adair County High School, Victoria and Gary Pike, and Gertrude Browning. - Victoria Pike
