Campbellsville Police arrest motorcyclist after high speed chase

Cyclist alleged to have passed several cars in a no passing zone fails to stop at first attempt by Campbellsville Police; he was taken into custody and faces several charges.

The Campbellsville Police Department was involved in a high speed vehicle pursuit at 12:23ET, on Sunday, May 4, 2014 which led from Old Hodgenville Road & North Bypass to Old Hodgenville Road & KY 210.



Ofc. Andy Warren observed a red and white motorcycle on North Bypass passing multiple cars in a no passing zone. Ofc. Warren attempted to stop the motorcycle at Old Hodgenville Road and North Bypass.

The rider (Anthony Dugger, age 26 white male ) disregarded Ofc. Warren's emergency equipment and continued on Old Hodgenville Road at a high rate of speed. Dugger pulled over at the intersection of Old Hodgenville and KY 210.

Dugger was taken into custody and charged with: Improper Passing, Reckless Driving, Fleeing or Evading Police, Wanton Endangerment 1st, Resisting Arrest, No Insurance, License to be in Possession. The Campbellsville Department is located at 100 Terri Street, Campbellsville, KY. Chief Tim Hazlette. Phone 270-465-4122
