Jon Halsey: Heartening - writer admits error, takes responsibility

We sure are overdue for that kind of forthrightness. - JON HALSEY

By Jon Halsey
Personal Commentary

I thought that "Little Brother" was just following the new political protocol: "If the story line makes our point, the facts don't matter."

It is heartening, however, to see that he broke from the modern mode and had the courage to admit not only the mistake but to take full responsibility.

Maybe the Waggener clan could apply a little "strong arm" pressure and get him to commit to the 2016 hustings. We sure are overdue for that kind of forthrightness.
