Matt Loy named CEO of United Citizens Bank of Southern KY New head of $133 Million Bank serving Adair, Russell & Taylor Counties is Adair County native. Matt Loy is a graduate of Adair County High School and the University of Kentucky. He is a member of one of Adair County's most distinguished families. He and wife Megan have two children, Connor and Ila. He has been an executive with USB, headquartered on Jamestown Street in Columbia, since August 2005. 'It means a lot to be able to impact my hometown. There's no place like home and I think Adair County's potential is unlimited.' - MATT LOY By Sandy Corbin The Board of Directors of United Citizens Bank of Southern Kentucky announced it has named Matt Loy as the bank's Chief Executive Officer. He assumed office April 1, 2014, as head of the $133 million financial institution with offices currently in Adair, Taylor, and Russell counties. "I'm excited about this opportunity," said Mr. Loy. "It's a challenge and a great responsibility. I'm proud to lead UCB into the future and I think we will accomplish great things. We have the best employees you will find and a hard-working, committed Board of Directors. I believe banking is still more art than science and it's great to be with a bank owned by local people that is committed to supporting its local families and businesses." Matt began his career as an Internal Auditor for First Corbin Bancservices, Inc. in 2003 before joining UCB as Internal Auditor and Loan Review Officer in August 2005. He has served as Vice President/Chief Financial Officer for UCB since 2008. An Adair County native and resident, Matt graduated from Adair County High School and the University of Kentucky. He and his wife, Megan, have two children, Connor and Ila. "It means a lot to be able to impact my hometown," Matt continued. United Citizens Bank, which opened its doors at 700 Jamestown Street in December 2004, has grown to over $130 million in assets. The bank now has four locations: the Main Office; the Highway 55 Office at 1582 Campbellsville Road in Columbia; the Campbellsville Office at 294 Campbellsville Bypass; and the Russell County Office at 2261 S.
