Two Metcalfe Co. men arrested following shooting incident

Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY

EDMONTON, KY - - 37-year-old Michael Wayne Bennett and 38-year-old Edward Terry Brooks, both of Edmonton, have been arrested and charged with Assault 1st. Bennett was arrested today at 2pmCT, at his residence, at 11693 Edmonton Road, Edmonton, KY. Brooks was arrested today at 5:05pmCT, at his residence, at 5051 Greensburg Road, Edmonton, KY.Both will be lodged in the Barren County Jail. Jonathan W. Greer remains in serious but stable condition. The investigation is ongoing at this time. - TFC Wm. Gregory .
