KSP Post 15 investigating shooting off KY 70 near Metcalfe/Barren Co. line 32 year old man phones report that he had been shot and was on Black Dot Road. The man, found at the scene, taken to T.J. Samson Hospital, Glasgow then airlifted to UL Hospital in Louisville, where he's reported in "serious but stable" condition as of 11:43amCT, today. By TFC Wm Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY EDMONTON, KY - The Kentucky State Police, Post 15, is investigating a shooting that occurred today in the area of Black Dot Road off KY 70 near the Barren/Metcalfe County line in Metcalfe County, KY. Glasgow dispatch received a call at 6:53amCT, Tuesday, April 29, 2014, from 32-year-old Jonathan W. Greer, stating that he had been shot and was on Black Dot Road. Barren County Sheriff's Office and Barren/Metcalfe EMS responded with the Hiseville Fire Department. Greer was found at the scene, transported to T.J. Sampson Hospital, Glasgow, KY, and then airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital where he remains in "serious but stable" condition as of 11:43amCT. It was determined that the incident occurred in Metcalfe County and Kentucky State Police were notified. The investigation is ongoing at this time. This story was posted on 2014-04-29 12:51:21
