Jane Potts: Having drinks with meals would help local economy Wet or Dry? Jane Potts writes: We go to Somerset or Glasgow 2 to 3 times a week to eat and I see a lot of Adair County people there. Why can't people understand that if Columbia was wet, we would have good food jobs. If you don't want to drink, then don't. I've had two church goers to sign who said they don't drink, but they agree, if you are where you should be, it wouldn't be temptation and they would not have a problem with it. By why not do more to keep Adair Countians who go out of town to have wine with their meals be able to do that right here in Adair County? And get more people to come see what we have to offer. - Jane PottsComments re article 66856 Update on WetDry Petition being circulated This story was posted on 2014-04-23 07:36:09
