LWC Theatre Program will present Almost Maine

The LWC Theatre Program's production of John Cariani's romantic comedy Almost, Maine opens Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 7pmCT in V.P. Henry Auditorium, 210 Lindsey Wilson St. Performances will also be at 7pmCT. Thursday-Friday, April 24-25 and 2pmCT, Sunday, April 27, 2014.

The play is directed by LWC Assistant Professor of Theatre Robert Brock.
In the decade since it premiered, Almost, Maine has become a popular production in regional theater as well as on U.S. college campuses.

"The most interesting thing about this play is the way that each scene can be interpreted," said LWC junior Jeremy Cloyd of Tompkinsville, KY, who plays two characters in Almost, Maine. "All of the characters talk about each other. Every character talks about a character that you've either just met or are going to meet in a different scene, but you never really have that full interaction. So everything that happens is up to the interpretation of the audience, and that's really cool as an actor to do." - Duane Bonifer
