Single vehicle injury crash occurs in Glensfork

Driver attempted to slow when vehicle in front of her turn into driveway, loses control, and vehicle rolls over its top. All four passenger were able to exit the vehicle; one passenger transported to Westlake Regional Hospital. Deputy BJ Bray investigated.

A single vehicle crash occurred in front of Glensfork Community Church, on Saturday, April 19, 2014.

Tammy Jacobs, 41 of Lebanon KY, was operating a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix south on Highway 55 South approximately 7 miles south of Columbia when a vehicle in front of her slowed to turn into a driveway.



Jacobs advised Law Enforcement she did not see the car turning and attempted to stop and her vehicle became out of control.

Jacob's vehicle rolled onto it's top and the operator and four passengers were able to exit the vehicle.

One of the passengers, 18 year old Austin Cochran, was transported to Westlake ER by the Adair County EMS with non life-threatening injuries. Jacobs was charged with having No Insurance. The crash was investigated by Deputy BJ Bray, Adair County Sheriff's Office.
