Se was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of Pulaski County, KY at the time of his death. He was a member of a highly regarded Russell County family with strong ties in Adair, Pulaski Counties and elsewhere. was the daugher of the late Sylvester & Patsy Gosser Meece, She was survived by her husband, Everette Eugene Foley. She leaves nine direct living descendants spanning 4 generations. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her

Colleen Meece Foley, 78, of Somerset, KY, formerly of Russell County, KY, was carried by angels to meet the Lord in Heaven on April 12, 2014. She was surrounded by her loving family during this trying time.

Funeral service for Colleen Meece Foley will be 2pmCT, Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Cedar Springs Missionary Batist Church, at Cedar Springs Baptist Church, Hwy 910, Windsor, Casey County, KY with Bro. Dwayne Marshall & Bro. Ensley Wright officiating. Friends may call 6pm-8pmCTm Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at the Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY. Burial will be in the Cedar Springs Cemetery.

She was born February 17, 1936 in Russell County, KY. She was the daugher of the late Sylvester & Patsy Gosser Meece. She died April 12, 2014, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 1 months, and 25 days.

She was a seamstress and a member of the Cedar Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ronnie D. Robertson; a sister, Argola Shepard and three brothers, Henry, Robert, and Roscoe Meece.

Survivors include the following:
  • Her husband: Everette Eugene Foley, Somerset, KY

  • Her daughter: Wanda Robertson, Somerset, KY

  • Two grandsons: Danny Robertson, Russell Springs, KY; and Darren (Melinda) Robertson, Somerset, KY

  • Five great grandchildren: Latasha Robertson, Seth Covarrubias, Sky Covarrubias, Mekyla Jones, and Katie Robertson

  • One great great grandchild: Evaliece Hope Ryan

  • One sister: Lola Rexroat, Russell Springs, KY

  • Many loving neices, nephews and friends
She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. Send a condolence to the family of Collen Meece Foley
