He was a member of a highly regarded Russell County family with strong ties in Adair, Pulaski Counties and elsewhere. was the daugher of the late Sylvester & Patsy Gosser Meece, She was survived by her husband, Everette Eugene Foley. She leaves nine direct living descendants spanning 4 generations. She was a seamstress and a member of the Cedar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ronnie D. Robertson; a sister, Argola Shepard and three brothers, Henry, Robert, and Roscoe Meece. Survivors include the following:
