Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for tobacco growers training April 22, 2014 By Nick Roy Adair County Extension Agent for Agriculture & Natural Resources A tobacco GAP training will be held at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY,at 6pmCT, Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Growers may register by calling 270-384-2317. Most tobacco companies are requiring that their growers be certified in Good Agricultural Practices for tobacco in 2014.
