Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for tobacco growers training April 22, 2014

A tobacco GAP training will be held at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY,at 6pmCT, Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Growers may register by calling 270-384-2317.

Most tobacco companies are requiring that their growers be certified in Good Agricultural Practices for tobacco in 2014. To become certified, growers need to attend an annual training and complete necessary documentation of crop production practices. - Nick Roy
