In response to Patty Bunch's statements about auctions

Executive Director of Kentucky Board of Auctioneers, responds to Patty Bunch complaint about experience at an estate auction. His board licenses, but is primarily a consumer protection agency, he writes
About: Patty Bunch: Spoiled by outstanding auction companies

By Kennith D. Hill

Regarding Patty Bunch’s recent auction experience, it is always a good thing when someone becomes "spoiled by the outstanding conduct" of local companies. For others, like Patty, who have a bad experience with an auction, there is an agency for that.

As the Executive Director for that agency, The Kentucky Board of Auctioneers, I oversee the investigation of all complaints and the forwarding of all praises for licensed Auctioneers across Kentucky.

While we license all Auctioneers and Auction Houses across the state, we are primarily a consumer protection agency, and we feel that the best consumer is an informed consumer. Auction customers are invited to visit our website at Auctioneers.Ky.gov There, you can check the licensing status of auctioneers, read Kentucky’s auction laws and regulations, and become a well-informed consumer.

We invite consumer complaints and comments.
