ACHS Baseball Team spruces up Joe Johnson Park

Over 320 Adair County Children participating this season

The ACHS Baseball team and Coach Mike Mantooth worked on Saturday morning, April 12, 2014, at Joe Johnson Little League Park, 167 Doc Walker Road, Columbia, to spruce up the field in readiness for the upcoming season. Many of the players helping out began their love of baseball on these very fields and we appreciate them giving back to the league.

The Little League season kicks off in a few days for children ages 5-12, with Tee Ball for the youngest players beginning in early may. This season there are over 320 children from Adair County are participating in our league. On behalf of all the players, coaches, volunteers, and parents we would like to thank all the businesses and other folks who support our community youth. - Information courtesy Scott Bennett
