CU Derby Rose Gala is Monday, April 14, 2014 Event generates over $100,000 for scholarships. This year's special speaker is Kevin Flannery, President of Churchill Downs. By Lindey Young CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - Campbellsville University is set to hold the sixth annual Derby Rose Gala on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 5pmCT/6pmET at the Winters Dining Hall located at 411 N. Columbia, Campbellsville, KY 42718. "The gala is an important scholarship fundraising event, generating close to $106,000 for scholarships in the past five years," Benji Kelly, vice president for development, said. The gala is a black-tie optional event with a gourmet meal, silent auction and guest speaker, Kevin Flanery, president of Churchill Downs Racetrack and senior vice president of Churchill Downs Incorporated.
