Mr. Stephens was a masonry contractor, a skilled wood craftsman and seller, and was a member of Christian Biblical Church of God. He was a native of Adair County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the sone of the late Allen & Lula Keen Stephens. His wife, Julie Keltner Stephens, Columbia, KY, survives. He leaves 17 direct and two step living descendants.

Glenn B. Stephens age 72 years of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 at 6:10pmET, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Celebration of Glenn's life will be Thursday April 10, 2014 from 1pm-5pmCT, at the Adair County Annex basement, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY.

He was born on Friday, June 26, 1941 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Allen & Lula Keen Stephens of Adair County. He died Monday, April 7, 2014, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 72 years, 9 months, and 11 days.

He is survived by his wife Julie Keltner Stephens of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Glenn Stephens Jr. and his wife Anne of Columbia, KY

  • Four daughters Teresa Stephens of Columbia, KY; Jennifer Kuper & husband Rick of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Leslie Shannon Stephens of Columbia, KY; and Sonya Wilson & husband Bernard of Roanoke, Virginia.

  • Two step-sons: Jason Coomer & Justin Coomer of Columbia, KY

  • Three sisters Wanda Ballou, Dinah Bowen both of Columbia, KY, and Nona Jeffries of Edmonton, KY

  • One brother: Frank Stephens of Louisville, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Two great grandchildren

  • Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
Mr. Stephens was a masonry contractor, a wood craftsman and seller, and was a member of Christian Biblical Church of God.
