Sheryl Nadine Skinner, 65, of Russell Springs, died Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral service for Sheryl Nadine Skinner will be at 1pmCT, Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY. Burial will be in Russell Springs City Cemetery. Visitation is 5pm-9pmET, at the funeral home.

She was born Monday, January 24, 1949 in Christian County, Illinois. She was the daughter of LaVerne & Mary Elizabeth Anderson Whitehead. She died Monday, April 7, 2014, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 65 years, 2 months, and 14 days.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Leon Skinner and her mother, Mary Elizabeth Whitehead.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three daughters: Mary (Juan) "Johnny" Aleman, Russell Springs, KY; Tammy (William) "Mike" Dudgeon, Russell Springs, KY; and Stacy (Steve) Clements, Liberty, KY

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • Twelve great grandchildren

  • Father: LaVerne Whitehead, Springfield, Illinois

  • Two sisters: Collene Smitty, Georgia; and LaFonda Fern Baird, Tampa, Florida

  • Brother: William McCarty, Virden, Illinois
