Remembering Peggy Morgan: For her friendship, acts of kindness Comments re article 66454 Peggy Morgan Russell Co KY 19502014 By Sheila Johnson I was saddened to see the passing of Peggy Morgan. Peggy had been such a good friend to me when I first moved to Columbia. I was lucky enough to gain employment at the nursing home, but with no money to buy uniforms or shoes, I just did not know what to do. My Aunt Ruby Yates called upon Peggy to help me out. Peggy brought me two nice uniforms SAS nursing shoes to help a young woman on her first full-time job. Peggy and I would see each other at church and sometimes she would come by my aunt's house to check in on me. I appreciated her friendship and acts of kindness. I lost touch with Peggy many years ago and today I see she has gone home to be with the Lord. Peggy, I hope you can see this and know how much you meant to me. --Sheila Johnson This story was posted on 2014-04-04 19:56:41
