Smoke around Green River Lake is controlled burn By Larry Smith (Tuesday, April 1, 2014 - 4:49pmCT/5:59pmET) - The Campbellsville Police Department has informed us that the large billows of smoke around the Green River Lake is the result of a controlled burn by the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife and that there is no cause for alarm.
