Political candidates can partner with Farmers Mkt. on the Square

By Beth Rutherford
Hospitality Coordinator, the Farmers Market on the Square

The Farmers Market on the Square will open for business on Saturday, April 5, 2014, from 8amCT-1pmCT.

Last year the market drew thousands of people from the Adair County area, as well as other areas.

There are many more vendors signed up for the market and more activities planned for the 2014 Farmers Market on the Square.

Therefore, the crowd is expected to be even bigger. This year there will be a Hospitality Tent staffed with volunteers to answer all questions about the market, provide a place to rest, chat with your neighbor, eat and conduct any other activities pertinent to the Farmers Market.

This would be the perfect opportunity for any and all political candidates to meet and talk one-on-one with the general population of Adair County.

If you are a political candidate in Adair County and would like to schedule a time to come to the market and get to know your neighbors and talk about your campaign, call Barbara Armitage at Tucker Station Farm, 270-250-2979.

Remember, there are only a few weeks until the primary election. Take advantage of this opportunity to get your name and your ideas out there. The market will run every Saturday throughout the spring, summer and fall 8am-1pmCT. --Beth Rutherford
