Darlene Sapp, age 63, of Liberty, KY passed away on Tuesday March 25, 2014, at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford, KY. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT/2pmET, Friday March 28, 2014 at Bruce's Chapel United Methodist Church, with Bro. Creech Richardson and Bro. David Terwilliger officiating. Burial will be in the Bruce's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Thursday March 27, 2014 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel and after 10amCT/11amET, on Friday March 28, 2014 at Bruce's Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was born in Liberty, KY on July 9, 1950 to the late Edward Burr and Juanita Matthews Brackett. She died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 53 years, 8 months, and 16 days.

Survivors include her spouse, Garland H. Sapp, and the following:
  • Four daughters: Michelle Terwilliger, Maydell Smith and Amanda Murphy all of Liberty, KY; and Miranda Crew of Russell Springs, KY

  • One step-son: Joshua Gregory of PA

  • Eight grandchildren

  • Two step-grandchildren

  • Two Step-great-grandchildren

  • Four sisters: Julia Collett, Sandra Byrd and Edwina Cooper all of Liberty, KY; and Sherry Luster of Middleburg, KY
Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by one brother, Edward Burr Brackett Jr.
