LWC education students participate in Read Across Adair

COLUMBIA, KY - A total of five dozen Lindsey Wilson College education students celebrated the joy of reading Monday night with Adair County schoolchildren. The Lindsey Wilson students participated in Read Across Adair County, held at Adair County Primary School.

LWC students read to children, worked on crafts and participated in prize giveaways.

The event is normally held on March 2, in conjunction with the National Education Association’s Read Across America Day, which celebrates the birth date of the late author Theodor Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. Weather delayed this year’s the annual celebration in Adair County.
