Veteran Farmer's Market on the Square at 1st FM2 planning session

Festival last year produced over $250,000 in additional agricultural/craft/tourism income for Adair County - in only its first year. This year already looks better. Spaces are filling fast. President, Farmers Market on the Square

The newest members of the Farmer's Market on the Square had an opportunity to chat with many of last year's market veterans at the first FM2 meeting of the 2014 season Thursday, March 20, 2014.

If you missed the first Farmer's Market on the Square vendor meeting on Thursday March 20, 2014 don't fret. You are welcome to join us for either of the next two informational meetings.
  • Thursday March 27, 2014 at 10:00amCT at Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY.
  • Monday March 31, 2014, at 5:30pmCT at Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY
(Reminders of both meetings are on the CM Events Calendar and will be on the Main Page EVENTS all day on March 27 and March 31, 2014)

The Farmer's Market on the Square is a Saturday only market located in the heart of historic Columbia featuring Kentucky grown products as well as handcrafted items.

Membership in the Farmer's Market on the Square Association is a reasonable $50.00 per season OR just $15.00 for a single day set up.

Come and be a part of Columbia's newest shopping experience. The Farmer's Market on the Square is open every Saturday from April 5, 2014, to the end of October.

Well before the larger gathering arrived Donna Jones, President of the Adair County Garden Club and a Farmers Market on the Square vendor, and Barbara Armitage, President of the Farmers Market on the Square, were preparing for the first of three meetings to prepare for the upcoming second season of the Farmers Market on the Square.
