Kearney R. "K.R." Adams, Jr., of Mt. Vernon, KY, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the Rockcastle County Hospital. He was 59.

Memorial services are 12pmCT/1pmET, Saturday, March 22, 2014 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating. Visitation is Saturday at 11amCT/12pm noon ET. Cremation rites have been honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Born Wednesday, July 7, 1954 in Lexington, Fayette Countym KY, he was the son of late K.R. Adams, Sr. and Violet Gregory Adams. He died Thursday, March 20, 2014, in Mt. Vernon, Rockcastle County, KY, at the age of 54 years, 8 months, and 13 days.

He was a physical therapist and a member of Faith Bible Church in Evansville, Indiana. "K.R." was an avid musician and guitarist. He loved computers.

Survivors include the following:
  • His son: Michael Adams of Casey County, KY

  • A sister: Shirley (and David) Morgan of Liberty, KY

  • A nephew: David (and Alisha) Morgan, Jr. of Georgetown, KY

  • And great nephew: Jacob Morgan
Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY.
