Porsha Hillock writes:
I am unsure where the rumor of a Taco Bell/KFC spawned, but we are only rebuilding the existing site. I am the Taco Bell general manager. Please let everyone know that the rumor is false! Thanks! -Porsha Hillock
Thanks - Still excellent news of the rebulding, re-validating the strategic importance of that block of Jamestown Street. The cutline will be changed to note what to expect. Any estimated time for re-opening? People are anxious to know. - Ed Waggener

March 10, 2014 Changing Face: Where Taco Bell isn't, now

2014-03-12 - 899 Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. A look north on Jamestown Street across Gaston Avenue shows where Columbia's Taco Bell isn't anymore, for now. Word on the street is that a new co-branded Taco Bell/KFC store will arise in its place, but Porsha Hillock, general manager says that it will all Taco Bell - and adds, it won't be long, maybe as June or July of 2014. "Looking at 3-4 months," she writes on March 13, 2014. - CM
