Kudos to CJE Melton for endorsing transformation legislation

'Thanks, Ann, for giving us a choice. - GEORGE KOLBENSCHLAG

George Kolbenschlag writes:
Kudos to Judge Ann Melton for her support for the 1% transformation levy. We all benefit from improvements to our community. Our disagreements usually revolve around what do we consider improvements. As I understand it this occasional small one-time levy will be enacted only if the majority of voting citizens approve it. That\s one of the benefits of a democracy. It you don\'t like the idea vote against it. If it does not go your way, blame your neighbors, not the politicians who give you a choice. Thanks, Ann, for giving us a choice. --George Kolbenschlag

2014-03-10 - Corbin, KY - Photo by Pen. Slaw burgers are available far and wide now. This tasty version came from the Dixie Cafe on Main Street in Corbin, KY. However, we did overhear someone quoting a few lines from "Dumas Walker" to explain the concept and history. Paired photo: See also: Holding Hailey trumps a Dixie Cafe pulled pork sandwich
