Adair Co., KY: Motorist assistance request leads to drug charges Adair County Deputy Sheriff Aaron Rainwater escorts driver to Westlake Regional Hospital after driver flags him down and requests the assistance. Gary Roy and Officer Jordan Dean assist in arrests Click on headline for complete police report By Deputy Adam Cravens Police report from the Adair County, KY, Sheriff's Office Deputy Aaron Rainwater was flagged down by a motorist Sunday evening, March 9, 2014, asking for assistance in finding a local hospital. Deputy Rainwater escorted vehicle to Westlake Regional where upon arrival the passenger, Shirley Colliam 31, of Lawrenceburg stumbled out of the vehicle clutching a prescription bottle with a plastic baggie. When asked about the contents Colliam admitted she had multiple pills and methamphetamine. When questioned the driver of the vehicle Mindy Snowden, 31 of Nicholasville admitted she had smoked marijuana and used methamphetamine earlier on this date. The driver, Snowden was charged with DUI 1st offense alcohol or other drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Colliam was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st offense and also charged with prescription not in original container.
