Campbellsville water system faces 3-4 more hours of repair

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY. (March 8, 2014, 5:57amCT/6.57amET, Campbellsville residents continue to be without water this morning. According to the Campbellsville Police Department, repairs to the 18" Campbellsville Water Company water main which broke in Miller Park last night near the treatment plant will continue for another 3-4 hours.



After that an emergency boil water advisory will be issued until the water is tested and is safe to use again. While the repairs and boil water advisory is in effect, restaurants affected won't be open.

For drinking water, many do have bottled water, with supplies stored by many prior to the recent ice storm.

Some residents low pressure water, but for most, it's muddy. We'll keep everyone posted on the Big Dawg 99.9 and on the WAVE, 92.7, and here on ColumbiaMagazine.com.
