Campbellsville, KY is without water Updated at 8:58pmCT/9:58ET By Larry Smith, 99.9 FM, the Big Dawg CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (March 7, 2014, 8:41pmCT/9:41 ET) - Most of the City of Campbellsville has no public water at this time due to an 18" water main break in Miller Park. According to Mayor Tony Young, the main feeds the Campbellsville Water Company treatment plant. Water Company crews will be working through the night, Mayor Young said, in an interview at the Big Dawg studio tonight, after he'd been at the site of the break and talked with citizens while still muddy from being at the scene of the break. The water main break will affect local businesses. Health Department regulations require restaurants to have running water when they are open, for instance. I'll be reporting more, here, and on FM 99.9 the Big Dawg, and FM 92.7, the WAVE, as soon as I learn more. This story was posted on 2014-03-07 20:33:45
