Nothing is ever perfect - where you were or where you are going.

Some thoughts on coming to Adair County - and leaving Adair County

By Frances Salyers
Personal Commentary

I have noticed that people love what they see when they come here. Then they get here and try to turn it into where they come from.

If you like what you had then consider if you should just stay there. People don't get what they have here by sitting and doing nothing. We have some beautiful places here, but it's hard work to keep it that way.

I am proud of our county. Hope that anyone thinking of leaving takes a good look before they decide. Nothing is ever perfect - where you have been or where you will be going. Let God lead you. Have a blessed day. --Frances Salyers
