Proud to be Adair Countian: By choice - perpetually Jon Halsey writes: Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee. These are all States that I have lived in. In several cases more than one town in these States. When I was transferred to Kentucky, I knew that I would be proud to live here. After meeting the people in the South Central Kentucky area, I knew that I could not, would not leave. I retired nine years ago and we have two plots in the New Columbia Cemetary.
