Glenda Lynch, 70, of Charlie Morrison Road, Columbia, KY, wife of Jimmie Lynch, passed into eternal rest on March 3, 2014.

Cremation has been chosen and services will be held at a later date.



Glenda Lynch, Adair County, KY (1943-2014)

She was born in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, on Wednesday, September 15, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Melissa Stacy Rakes. She died Monday, March 3, 2014, in Adair County, KY, at the age of 70 years, 5 months, and 18 days.

In addition to her parents, Frank and Melissa Stacy Rakes, she was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Fred and Adrian Stacy; two sons, Jeffery A. Lynch and Phillip W. Lynch, Sr.; and a granddaughter, Summer A. Johns.

Besides her husband of 49 years, Jimmie Lynch, she is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Robin Johns and her husband Scott

  • One son: John Lynch and his wife Kimberly

  • Four grandsons: Scott Johns II, Phillip Lynch II, Kody Lynch, and Jack Lynch, all of Florida
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
