Joyce Coomer: Mile off KY 704 - and no trouble getting out Thanks to their rugged 1984 Ford F150 4WD Joyce Coomer writes: We live about a mile off Highway 704, and while our side road is solid ice, we've had no trouble getting out - our 1994 Ford F150 4WD sure is handy. The worst part of our drive the past two days has been the large lumps of frozen snow at the end of our road - don't know who graded and left them there, but they are annoying. Highway 704 is in fair to middling shape and we had no trouble traveling on it this morning - yesterday morning the road crews were working on it but hadn't done the entire road; by the end of the day they had graded the worst of the ice and snow off of both lanes. The only trouble we've had is that yesterday morning one of the windshield wipers came apart so Greg couldn't use the wipers and had to drive with spotty visibility through the windshield. Joyce M.
