Can pin point site of Buck Watson's store at Neatsville Comments re photo 53778 Old Neatsville Buck Watson store down there Paul Patton writes: Ed, I am quite sure I can pin point the place where Buck Watson's store used to be at Neatsville. Before Buck operated the store, It was operated by his father-in-law, E. L. "Casey" Hardin. Several of the Hardin children are still living and they, as well as I, should be able to tell you where the building stood. Some of my childhood memories center around this store and other buildings, residences and a school building which stood nearby. - Paul PattonThanks, Paul Patton: And now maybe someone will see that a historical marker goes up nearby for the whole town. It was quite a place, from reading Susie Grant's article. - EW This story was posted on 2014-03-02 19:04:28
