Adair, Russell Countians hear President Clinton at Galt House Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow. Heroine of the trip, Pam Shearer, braved line and got highly prized autographed picture of President Clinton. Adair delegation includes Rowe, Vicky Pike, Ben Loy, Dwayne Loy, J M Shelley, R L Walker, and Marsha Walker By Victoria Pike CM Greater Bliss Bureau Chief A delegation of Adair County Democrats made an early morning trip to Louisville this morning to attend an event at the Galt House at which former President Bill Clinton was the keynote speaker. No matter which side of the fence you are on, it is always a great honor the get the see a former United States President in person. I forgot to come by an get my press pass as Greater Bliss bureau chief. It sure would have come in handy. With more than 25 news outlets represented, it would have been nice for Columbia Magazine to have made the lineup. My zoom wasn't strong enough so don't have a picture for you. Next time I will have to borrow one to cover such a news worthy event. Adair County and Russell County went together to purchase a table. Those in attendance were: Cynthia Rowe, Pam Shearer, Victoria Pike, Ben Loy, Dwayne Loy, J M Shelley, R L Walker, and Marsha Walker. A very persistent Pam Shearer braved the line and the secret service to get a prized autographed picture of President Clinton. - Victoria Pike This story was posted on 2014-02-25 20:24:32
