By Jay R. Nicols

COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson College and Sports Reach are teaming up on Thursday, February 27, 2014, for the sixth annual Next Step Shoe Drive at Biggers Sports Center.

Fans will be admitted for free into Lindsey Wilson's doubleheader with University of Rio Grande (Ohio) on Thursday with a donation of a new or slightly worn pair of shoes. That donation also enters the donor into the raffle that will be going on during both games for door and cash prizes. Sports Reach is selling raffle tickets for $4 at the door as well. Cash prizes will be paid on the spot.

Shoe donations can also be donated at the athletic office anytime before 4pmCT on Thursday. The shoes are donated to various communities around Columbia, Ky. and the world.

At halftime of both games, two people will be drawn for a free throw shooting contest. The person who hits the most free throws wins a $100. If they choose, the winner can return the $100 for the opportunity to make a half-court shot for $500.
