By Dick Scholl

Another great grandfather story: My mom's grandfather was a country doctor (Dr. John Edward Buster) who practiced medicine in Creelsboro, KY.

I have been to his house and found a medicine bottle. They have since torn the house down.

He would sleep with his clothes on in case someone got sick. In that day he rode a horse to visit his patients.

His son Eugene was mom's dad.

In those days honey was used to treat superficial burns. When Eugene would misbehave his mom would tell him if he wasn't good he would go to hell and burn. Grandpa Buster told his mom if that happened he would just take a jar of honey with him. --Dick Scholl
