Judge Melton's executive order is for the building to be closed the rest of the day, (Update: at 1:20pmCT, Columbia Police Chief Jason Cross said that officers would make one more sweep of the building and expected to give an all clear in about 30 minutes or at around 2pmCT. No explosive had been found, he said.) A section of Greensburg Street, from the Square to High Street has been blocked off while Columbia City Police, and the Adair County Sheriff's Department. The threat was received by Jerri Nixon, secretary in the office of Judge Melton. Who said the called told her everything was about to go "Bumm!" Nixon said the called asked, "Is this the Judge's Office?" when he called. She said she asked him which one, because often callers are wanting the Adair Judicial Center. He answered, "The one on the Square," and after she told him "This is the the one," he told her, "You better get out of there. It's going to go bumm! I've planted three C-4's that are going to go off in 15 minutes." (See C-4 entry in Wikipedia for information on the bombs) She said the man then started a chant and that he had a foreign accent. School busses, which will be rolling at 1pmCT for Early Release Friday, have been told of the incident. Authorities think it could be a hoax, as many are, but are taking no chances.
