Jewell Conner, 83, Glover Road, Jamestown, KY, died Monday, February 17, 2014, at 8:30pmET, Monday, February 17, 2014, at the Jean Waddle Care Center, Somerset, KY.

The funeral services will be at 11amCT, Thursday, February 20, 2013, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY with Bro. Wendell Roberts officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at the funeral home.

Jewell Conner was the daughter of the late Lennie Pierce and Learl Mason Pierce. She was born November 29, 1930, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY. She died Monday, February 17, 2014, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 83 years, 2 months, and 18 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Freedom Christian Church, Jamestown, KY.

She is survived by her husband, Delmer R. Connerr, Jamestown, KY, and the following:
  • A son: Gwinn Conner, Jamestown, KY

  • A daughter: Judy Conner, Jamestown, KY

  • Two brothers: Mitchell Pierce and Delbert Pierce, both of Jamestown, KY

  • Two grandchildren

  • One step Grandchild

  • Five great grandsons
She was preceded in death by one brother, Marshall Pierce The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
