Reebie Humphrey age 94 of Glasgow, KY formerly of the (Willow Shade Community), passed away on Monday, February 03, 2014 at the NHC Health Care in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 08, 2014 at 2pmCT, at Marrowbone Baptist Church with burial in Dutch Creek Cemetery, in Cumberland County. The family requests visitation after 6pmCT-9pmCT, Friday, February 07, 2014 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY.



Reebie Humphrey, Willow Shade (1919-2014)


Reebie was born on February 17, 1919 in Marrowbone, Cumberland County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Jess and Ellen White Geralds. She died Monday, February 3, 2014, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 94 years, 11 months, and 14 days.

She was a former Federal Inspector in Plainfield, Indiana.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James David Humphrey, two sons, Roger Dale Humphrey and James Morris Humphrey, and two grandchildren. Survivors Include:
  • One daughter: Betty Hammer of Glasgow,KY

  • One son: Earnie Humphrey of Inglis, Florida

  • Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends
